An investment operation is one which, upon thorough analysis, promises safety of principal and a satisfactory return. Operations not meeting these requirements are speculative." Ben Graham
The above comment, by the grandfather of value investing, ruled almost all forms of investment as speculative then. Over the years, investing had evolved and now take on many forms. I'm an advocate for value investing but by no means am I implying that value investing is the best way of investing and neither am I saying that it suits everybody.

Value investing can be rewarding both in terms of tangible and intangible returns. But I'm embarassed  to say that I have not been practicing this approach for most of my trades thus far. My personal investing journey had evolved over the years and I shall share more in depth along the way I'm still new to this world of value investing so do bear with me should I make any mistakes.

Financial books are my favorite books and I'm constantly brushing up my knowledge about value investing. It really requires extensive amount of research, discipline and conviction to stick to the end with the chosen stock, not knowing when or if the value will be recognized by the wider group of investors.

With this, I shall begin my journey towards value investing!
